San Diego Zoo w/ pictures

Our trip to the zoo was mostly successful. There was a lot of walking & a little bit of whining but mostly an enjoyable day. The elephant/fossil exhibit did trap us close to the end of the day which was frustrating. There was no koala which was disappointing. I wouldn't buy a $4 soft serve ice cream cone so I was the mean Mom. The day was beautiful. The weather was perfect and we saw a ton of cool things. Tate's fave was the Arctic Fox. I thought that it was very cool that the panda was actually running around. Usually they're just like big fuzzy lumps. I've always wanted to take the kids to the SD Zoo & maybe it was a little late since we are past the time when the big kids were so in to animals but I think that they had fun anyway.
